Our Mission
At the Sask Peer Support Network, Our mission is to ensure that no one walks the path of mental health and addiction recovery alone. We are dedicated to connecting individuals in need with meaningful peer support, while empowering and equipping peer support group facilitators with the tools, guidance, and community they need to lead with confidence and care. Rooted in empathy, lived experience, and mutual respect, we foster safe, inclusive spaces where healing, hope, and connection can flourish.
Our Story
The Sask Peer Support Network began with a simple request — to start a peer support group in Melfort. What started as an Emotions Anonymous meeting quickly grew into something more meaningful than we imagined. We were deeply moved by how much it helped not only those who attended, but us as well. That experience confirmed what we already knew: peer support changes lives.
From that first gathering, our vision expanded. We believe in the power of shared experience and in building value within communities across the province. Today, we continue to strengthen those connections—linking peer-led groups, sharing training, and fostering spaces of hope, recovery, and belonging throughout Saskatchewan.
